Number Awarded: Fifteen four-year, $15,000 scholarships are presented to students from public high schools participating in the Show's School Art Program.

Applications: Available from art teacher at the time district art show is judged by School Art Committee prior to Show

Deadline: April 1 of the year in which the scholarship is to be awarded.

Eligibility: Applicant must have received either Gold Medal, Best of Show, Special Merit or Gold Star Finalist recognition in School Art competition representing his/her participating public high school; must meet academic and test score minimums as set forth in the application; must graduate from participating public high school in the spring semester in which the award is presented; must be resident of the state of Texas and a citizen of the United States of America; and must plan to enroll in a Texas college or university. There are no restrictions on major field of study.

Selection: Evaluation by an independent scholarship selection committee.
