Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

How To Volunteer

The Show currently has more than 27,000 volunteer positions on more than 100 different committees. Volunteers work in every facet of the Show, including the livestock show, horse show, commercial exhibits, transportation, auctions, membership sales and ticket sales. Volunteers work more than 1.4 million hours, saving the Show $28 million in payroll costs.

Show members who would like to be considered for committee appointment should complete a Committee Volunteer Request through their online account or follow the instructions below. The committee chairman or a representative of the requested committee will contact the applicant if there is an opening. Committee volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteers who are Corral Club members have access to three private Corral Clubs:

  • Reliant Center Committeemen's Room
  • Reliant Stadium Committeemen's Room
  • Reliant Arena Stockman's Club
