The RODEOHOUSTON broadcasts rodeo action straight into the homes of fans across the United States through special television events on DIRECTV Pay-Per-View.The first RODEOHOUSTON pay-per-view event took place in 1994 as one show, featuring three entertainers and rodeo highlights.

During 2009, The RODEOHOUSTON, viewers saw the live rodeo-only performances of the BP Super Series Semifinals, Wild Card and Championship rounds, featuring world champion rodeo athletes as they competed for more than $1.4 million dollars in the world's richest, regular-season PRCA rodeo. pay-per-view events encompass seven professional rodeo events: bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping and tie-down roping.
